This Orthophoto map was produced from about 1800 aerial photos taken in the months between October and November 2008. Majority of aerial photos employed fro this product was taken at the flying height of 2400m and supplemented by aerial photos taken at 6000m flying height. Digital photogrammetric technology was employed for data processing, ortho-rectification and mosaicking. The image of the land area beyond the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was produced from the Landsat-7 satellite image, captured in December 2008.
