About the author:
Steve Rowe is Senior Inspector with responsibility for management development in Barking and Dagenham TLEA. He is OFSTED registered. His background in secondary education includes experience as head of department, head of year, IVEI curriculum co-ordinator and advisory teacher. Prior to taking up his present post, he was General Inspector responsible for humanities. As part of this present role, he leads the LEA's Management Development Team, every member of which has made important contributions to the book.
