I decided to read this book because my Mum read a review and said it was supposed to be good.
This book covers the 'male main character' spot on the bingo board.
I quote I liked from the book was "My teachers think I'm easily distracted and 'lack focus'. Which is a bit harsh, because right now I am very focused on which biscuit I should eat first". I liked this quote because I can really identify with Tom in when he says this. This also helps us to discover how funny and exciting Tom is. I also liked this quote because it made me laugh and is very true about my life as well.
Something I learnt from this book was that everything can be funny because Pichon even makes Tom's terrible camping trip sound completely hilarious and how Tom talks about the things embarrasses the most are the most funny things.
The setting of Tom's neighbourhood was really interesting and you could almost imagine yourself living there and going to Tom's school with him. The setting was a great place for Tom's stories to be told because it is a very nice and funny place.
